Norfolk's Best 1 to 1 landscape Photo Workshops

Norfolk's Best 1 to 1 landscape Photo Workshops

Rather than the usual format of going to various locations and trying to cover a lot in 1 session, I have added a shorter, more affordable workshop that is designed to focus on 1 or 2 things to assist you in taking the next step in developing your photographic practice.

These short sessions coincide with a start time to finish at sunset, they are an opportunity for you to shoot alongside a seasoned sunset photographer who will assist you every step of the way with your image-making.

We can either start at a predetermined location that is convenient for you, or the session can start at Dibs's house, you can then be driven in his van for the duration of the 1-2-1 session. Just let me know what way you prefer when booking. Upon booking please email me at info@dibsphotography.com to arrange the date of the session, currently, sessions are being run at weekends approximately 6 weeks in the future.

These sessions are for anybody who has a fundamental understanding of the manual controls on their DSLR/CSC camera, right through to people who know how to use their camera and just want to improve their photographic practice.

How do I teach the session?

The short session is filled with landscape photography tuition out on location, we will visit 1 classic Norfolk location either on the coast or on the Norfolk Broads.

This is a one-student-to-one tutor session (unless you decide on the 2 people or group options) You will get all the help that is needed to maximize your learning from the day.

The session will be solely tailored around your needs, so in brief: You will have somebody to show you what to look out for in creating those perfect images before you have even got the camera out of the camera bag, right through to advice and pointers to how to edit those shots at some of the most iconic locations Norfolk has to offer.

By the end of the session, you will have a full understanding of what the settings on your camera do in relation to landscape image-making. You will be taking control of your camera and the settings and letting the creativity start to flow.

What experience do I have as a tutor?

Whilst shooting we will be discussing the theory behind making work, what stands out and what sells, what makes a good image and how can we get that image we see into our cameras. This comes off the back of my many years of commercial photography experience and time spent studying photography as an art form.

You know you will be in good hands during the sessions with me.

I spent over 10 years running workshops, including 4 years of teaching and writing workshops for all levels and ages of photographers for the country's biggest photographic retailer Wex Photo Video

As one of the ambassadors for Formatt-Hitech filters, a UK-based, yet one of the world's largest landscape filter companies, they fully support me in my work and pass on my knowledge of photography as I meet their high standards of excellence through my sessions.

5 years studying Commercial, landscape, and architecture photography to the Master's degree level with some of the best mentors and tutors the country has and graduating with a 1st class degree with honors.

I have also picked up a few awards along the way and I have exhibited and been published worldwide, just check out my Shows and Awards page
