Anglesey and Surrounding Area Landscape Photo Tour - Wales |

Fri 22nd till sunset Sun 24th March 2024

Join me for an unforgettable photography experience based in and around the stunning Anglesey area in North Wales.

Accommodation: Accommodation will be provided in a well-located Airb&b and each attendee will have their own private room.

Breakfast will be provided and will include Cereal and Toast with Orange Juice at the accommodation, followed by Bacon Rolls and hot drinks cooked in my van on location after sunrise.

Lunch, Dinner, and Snacks throughout the day are not included, although I do have hot drink-making facilities inside my van.

Photography Opportunities: Photographing the Anglesey region in North Wales is a truly awe-inspiring experience that will leave any photographer mesmerized by its natural beauty.

Located on the northwestern coast of Wales, the region boasts breathtaking landscapes, lighthouses, dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches, and charming villages that offer endless opportunities for capturing stunning images. The area is a haven for photographers seeking diverse subjects and enchanting backdrops. With its rugged coastline, towering cliffs, and hidden coves, every corner of this area presents a unique and captivating scene. From the iconic South Stack Lighthouse to the secluded Trefor Sea Stacks, the region offers a myriad of photogenic locations waiting to be discovered. The ever-changing light, dramatic landscapes, and abundant wildlife provide endless opportunities for creativity and artistic expression.

Locations planned to visit: We will be working in a variety of locations and it will not be limited to the following Trefor Sea Stacks, South Stack Lighthouse, Menai Bridge, and Penmon Lighthouse to name a few of the locations we will aim to visit

Transport: Transport is not covered on this trip, I will help to sort out a carpool with the group, and I will be happy to carry attendees' equipment in my van between locations. There 1 will be room for 1 person in my van and another vehicle will need to have 2 people in it, this will help with parking at all locations we visit.

Workshop itinerary: On Friday, we will start the session prior to sunset at 2 pm, the session will start with us immediately photographing until sunset. From here we will check into our accommodation and then go get something to eat and have a look through the images we have shot. You are welcome to meet with the rest of the group at any time on day 1, as I want the trip to work for you.

Saturday will be spent photographing the coastline from Sunrise to Sunset and we will work a few locations, then afterwards we will head out for dinner, followed by an image review back at the accommodation.

Sunday we will do much of the same as the previous day along with checkout out of the accommodation, after another full day of photography after sunset the session will end we will then depart and head homeward.

Please do note, that this is a tour, not a dedicated photo workshop, so please do not be surprised when you see me taking photos alongside you. This being said I am always on hand to offer plenty of advice if you want to improve your photography during the session as I thrive off seeing people progress in their own photographic journey. In short as much or as little assistance is on hand at all times.

Essential Photography Kit: DSLR Camera Spare Batteries and memory cards Wide-angle lens Sturdy tripod Lens cleaning kit Camera bag Appropriate clothing for the weather Food and drink Sturdy footwear.

I always have a spare set of Formatt Hitech landscape filters in the van in case anybody would like to borrow some. I am also happy to assist you with purchasing filters by recommending what works best in different scenarios, you are also welcome to use my discount code DIBSM10 for 10% off all filters on the Formatt-Hitech website

Group Size and Booking: This small group session accommodates a maximum of 3 attendees plus myself making it a total of 4 people

Payment via the website checkout system confirms your booking.

You can also secure your spot with a £100 deposit and the booking is confirmed upon payment, to arrange this please send me an email or message as this will need to be paid by bacs. The remaining balance will be due on Monday 31st January 2024.

If you wish to pay in full by bacs as opposed to Paypal, I can provide you with bacs details to pay in full in 1 payment.

Additional Information: Certain parts of our photography adventure will involve walking on unmade paths and working at heights from cliff tops. I fully recommend bringing suitable foul-weather clothing and very sturdy footwear, as our workshop will proceed regardless of the weather conditions.

Please do note that the area has some very steep footpaths that lead down to the more photogenic areas, so, as a result, you will need to be comfortable walking on unmade paths and with steep gradients, attendees' safety is always my 100% priority, no image is ever worth unnecessary risk.

Insurance and Meals: Camera and personal insurance are not included in the workshop cost. Furthermore, the workshop fee does not cover travel costs, lunch and evening meals, or any car parking charges.

The accommodation is equipped with full cooking facilities for your convenience if you wish to make yourself a lunch or meal instead of eating out.
